Cora Palma, Ph.D., LEP

LICENSED EDUCATIONAL PSYCHOLOGIST

MY BACKGROUND & APPROACH

I am a Licensed Educational Psychologist and work with school-aged youth and their parents/guardians with a focus on educationally related needs. I offer counseling, psychological-educational assessment, and Independent Educational Evaluations (IEE). I also provide educational consultation and advocacy to parents and caregivers of children with known or suspected disabilities, with the goal being to enhance relationships between families and schools and improve outcomes for students. I offer counseling and coaching to parents and caregivers, providing tools and strategies to connect with and foster attachment with their children, bridge the home-to-school connection, or address behavioral issues with their children. I work with schools and districts to provide training in suicide prevention and intervention, and preventing targeted violence at school through a behavioral threat assessment model.
